Saturday 8/1/09 Neptune City 5K

Today, Saturday August 1st, 2009, Hope Bifulco did her FIRST road race. A 5K run in Neptune City, NJ. Her winning time for the 3.1 mile race was 42.27. Hope was the second youngest runner in the race. She finished #22 in her age category 12 and younger. Not bad. She went out slow and easy and as you can see in the video , she had plenty left for the finish. I think she will be following in grandma's footsteps. The picture below is at the start.
